Buh-bye wordpress, we hardly knew ye!

Following Jesse's switch from MT to WP, I had decided to give it a shot. Infact, only yesterday, I had a test blog ready

Today, there's news that WordPress lead developer tried to manipulate google search results.

So my blogs are going to powered by MT and Blogger for some more time.

It's not fair to judge an excellent piece of software based on the actions of one person, even if it's a developer of said software. Wordpress has many developers - not just one.

Besides, how about hearing Matt Mullenweg's side of the story first, before jumping the gun? From what I hear, Matt's a very reputable guy, that's quite well known in the open-source community. Everyone slips up once in a while..

Once again, Slashdot doesn't tell the full story.

The truth sounds much less of a problem then Slashdot makes it appear:

Before you rush to judgement and decide to withdraw use of WordPress, maybe you should research this a little more.
