Why are these sites carrying old news?

Both CNET and inquirer mention that mozilla has a shell exploit, but fail to mention that a patch has been released and/or new releases do not suffer from this.

CNET News
Inquirer

In other news, the number of reviews of firefox on download.com is now 714.

The CNET story has been updated to mention the patch.

The story on the Inquirer does mention the patch - I don't know if that's just been added, but there's no indication of that.

CNET mentions the patch, but still says that latest versions are affected by the exploit - which is no longer true.

Same for inquirer, they mention the patch, but not that the latest releases are safe.

(Jokingly) Maybe that's because C|NET is mad at us because they think our firefox reviews are spam (take a look of the negative comments)?
